Privacy policy

Weng is built by Ticketnation Philippines. This policy describes what we collect and how we use it. Plain language version follows; the formal version lives in /docs/privacy-policy.md.
What we collect
Account info (your Apple ID or phone number, plus optional email). The wedding details you enter into the app — names, budget, suppliers, guests, RSVPs, photos. Anonymous usage analytics via PostHog. Error reports via Sentry, with PII scrubbed.
What we don't do
We don't sell your data. We don't share guest contact info between weddings. We don't use your wedding photos to train AI models. We don't track you across other apps.
Sub-processors
Anthropic (Claude API — Weng AI inference), AWS (EC2 hosting), Cloudflare (DNS, CDN), Twilio (SMS verification), Sentry (error reporting), PostHog (analytics), RevenueCat (subscription management). Each receives the minimum data needed for its function.
EXIF stripping
Photos uploaded by guests are stripped of GPS and camera metadata before storage, by default. Couples can opt out per wedding.
Your rights
You can request a full data export anytime by emailing privacy@altev.tech (paid tier feature, available in-app). You can request deletion of your wedding; a 30-day soft-delete window applies before hard deletion. You can revoke any device's access from Settings → Sign out everywhere.
Compliance
We follow the Philippine Data Privacy Act (DPA 2012). For users outside the Philippines, we apply equivalent GDPR-style controls (export, delete, no cross-border sale).
